To automatically create subscribers when a user signs up on Alia, you’ll need to authorize Alia to interact with Attentive on your behalf.
To do this, open Alia in Shopify Admin, and navigate to the Integrations page in the side menu:
Under Attentive, click the green button that says “Connect”. You’ll be redirected to Attentive, where you need to authorize Alia to use the API on your behalf:
You’ll then be redirected back to Shopify Admin, where you’ll be prompted to enter your Attentive sign up source ID:
Attentive requires you to enter your sign up source ID so that sign ups through Alia can be correctly attributed.
To find this ID, return to Attentive and navigate to the Sign-up Units page. At the bottom, you’ll see two sign-up units, one for “Transactional API” and one for “Marketing API”. Highlight and copy the Marketing API ID:
Then, return to Alia and paste the ID into the text box, and click Save.
That’s it — you’ve successfully integrated Alia with Attentive!
